AI as a Service
Discovering client’s needs
First, we do our best to understand our customers and their needs. We analyze where there is room for improvements and discuss various high-tech solutions that would be the most effective.
Feasibility study
This is a stage in which we closely cooperate with our client’s team, get access to crucial data and exchange information on a daily basis. We want to make sure that the project we are working on together is going to be an investment that will quickly pay off and will keep on bringing additional value in the future.
Building a prototype
At this stage, we already have reached an agreement and we now focus on making an idea come true. Our team prepares a complex plan, divides tasks and creates a timetable. Then, we build a prototype that resembles our main goal and analyze it with our client to agree on details.

Mobile Elevating Gangway
The Dabico FMT Mobile Elevating Gangway (MEG) was originally developed in 1998 to serve the new type of Mega Cruise ships that started to enter the market at the end of the last decennium. The first three Dabico FMT MEGs were installed at Port of Miami Terminals F & G to serve RCI Voyager Class ships.
The Dabico FMT MEG was invented mainly to solve two issues:
Full mobility on the wharf deck to service different ships from different terminal exit doors.
Achieving a vertical service window towards the ship and at the same time fulfilling ADA slope requirements in the tunnels.
The result of the invention was the first mobile switch-back type of Passenger Gangway which was so unique that Dabico FMT received a US Patent (No. US 6,668,411 B1). The MEG type of Gangway can have different styles and orientations. The original MEG had sloping tunnel sections perpendicular to the ship and terminal building.
Mobile Telescopic Bridge
The Dabico FMT Mobile Telescopic Bridge (MTB) for seaports is an enlarged airport apron drive bridge made for the marine environment and with the capability to reach 12 meters above the wharf deck. The Dabico FMT MTB has been delivered in more than 15 units for the US market only.
The Dabico FMT MTB has three telescoping tunnels as standard and is equipped with an always horizontal cab section which makes the transition between gangway and tunnel very convenient and safe even for elderly people and people with disabilities.
The straight tunnel design is suitable for terminals with wide wharf decks allowing the required slope to be reached and thereby fulfilling ADA slope requirements.
Fixed Telescopic Bridge
The Dabico FMT Fixed Telescopic Bridges are mostly used for ferry terminals around the world. Dabico FMT started to deliver this kind of Fixed Bridge for ferries already during the 1980s.
The Fixed Telescopic Bridges are very convenient with a horizontal plane for passengers to walk on when embarking/disembarking a ferry or ship.
The Fixed Telescopic Bridges are hydraulically elevated and telescopic movable to and from the ship.
The design with few moving parts makes this kind of design very well suited for extreme climates like winter, ice and storms.
The most advanced Dabico FMT Fixed Telescopic Bridges are radio-controlled by a remote operator’s panel located on the ferry and thereby eliminating the need for an operator in the Telescopic Bridge on shore. Examples of this kind of installation are Helsingborg, Sweden and Sassnitz-Mukran, Germany.
Fixed Walkway
The Dabico FMT Fixed Walkways are normally delivered to support a Mobile Gangway or as a transition tunnel to and from a Mobile Telescopic bridge or Fixed Telescopic Bridge.
Dabico FMT design the fixed walkway to mix in with the terminal building and the mobile/fixed bridge which is the final connection to the ship. The customer or end-user may have a large impact on the design and choice of material and colours.
The Dabico FMT Fixed Walkways are many times delivered with steel support columns and can be delivered as either fully ready-made units or in pieces for local site assembly.
